Sholay(शोले) is the biggest hit in the history of the Indian Cinema Industry i.e. in Bollywood which is shown in the Indian local theaters on August 15th(स्वातंत्र दिनोतसव ) 1975.It earned around 7.68 billion rupees which can be equates as 160 billion dollars of US currency.It was declared as the "Film of the Millennium" on 1999.The movie is the story of two hired hands trying to capture a ruthless dacoit by the name of Gabbar Singh.It is the first film to celebrate silver jubilee(25 weeks) at over hundred theatres across India.
